Asian Designer Week, popularly known as ADW was conceived in October 2015 to provide a dynamic platform to young and aspiring designers across Asia while celebrating the common fabric that unites all Asian countries irrespective of the cultural diversities. It is an equal-opportunity platform run jointly by FIO Dot Global and its industry body, the Asian Fashion Design Council (AFDC). ADW aims to promote upcoming talent, encourage cultural mix and also provide numerous learning, networking and business opportunities to young and aspiring fashion and design professionals. It hosts bi-annual events – Spring Summer and Fall Winter.

• Face masks: Masks are the best way to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Most states and local businesses are now requiring that guests wear a mask to enter. The World Health Organization labels masks as "a key measure to suppress transmission and save lives." We expect protective face-coverings to be part of the future of events for some time. 
• Social Distancing: Keeping at least 6 feet apart is an important part in stopping the spread. Many businesses are also limiting max capacities to make it easier for customers to distance themselves. Once hybrid events become more common in the near future, social distancing will likely be a requirement and help on-site attendees feel more safe and comfortable attending events.
